General Sign Inc Please Call 1-800-346-2667          General Sign, Inc. manufactures a unique outdoor lighted sign that solves many problems for business owners everywhere and stimulates success.  Since we're not a sign maintenance business we're inspired to provide a sign that requires little, if any maintenance.  To understand this you must know what the problems are that people have with lighted signs.  For example, most signs you'll see on the street are made of sheet metal and acrylic, which are common in the sign industry, but not the best choice of materials.  The reason for this is simple: sheet metal rusts and acrylic faces are easily broken, so in short time a sign made of these materials can be in a state of disrepair with rust stains, broken faces or paint that is fading or peeling.          To avoid above problems we are using Policarbonate, which has 30 times the impact strenghth of acrylic, to make sign faces and a unique aluminum extrusion that has a baked-on bronze finish to prevent rusting.          Additionally all the painted decorations are applied on the second surface (inside), which provides even greater protection against scratching, peeling and fading.          To maximaze sign visibility we combine internal illumination with vacuum-formed faces.  Here the pan-formed edges allow more light to come out of both sides, top and botom.  Together, they generatemore attention by allowing more attention by allowing more light from inside to radiate outward in all directions.    During the vacuum forming process the copy (or the text) is embossed giving it 3D qualities and making it readable at an angle of nearly 170 degrees.          All signage produced by General Sign , Inc., is UL approved.
